The Microsoft Nigeria Director adds that the security and reliability features that users expect from Windows has been enhanced as “it is fast and made to work on a variety of devices especially on the new generation of touch devices.”

According to him, two features that long time Windows users cried out for after Windows 8’s original release have made their way into Windows 8.1: the Start button and the ability to boot to the desktop where standard Windows programmes can run just as they have for the last few versions of the operating system.

The start button has a fully customized start screen. The start screen is where you put the apps you use most, you could also pin contact and favourite websites.
Ihimoyan also adds that that Window 9 will soon be launched before the end of the year and the launch will be in line with the company’s mission and values to help people and businesses throughout the world realize their full potential.
